Velvet Turoff
Grand Duchess Velvet was once a rescue who was so terrified of people that they considered her near-feral. At 7 months old, she was brought to a Chow-Chow rescue organization in Canada called Merlin's Hope, and a few months later found her fur-ever home with Howie and Lori Turoff who love her more than anything in the world. She is affectionate (for a Chow) and happy and loves living in the Marigny where spends every waking hour obsessing over the neighborhood cats. She is 7 years old and this is her 6th Barkus parade. Velvet pledges to never to miss one for the rest of what promises to be a long, happy, healthy life.
