It is with great sadness that we share the passing of the sweet and handsome Barkus King XXIX, Jumping Jack Flash Lamar.
King Jumping Jack Flash led us back into the streets of the French Quarter for our first parade after COVID, bringing joy to all our hearts. He spent his final days in his happy place—his farm in Mississippi—with his loving family.
The entire Krewe of Barkus, both four-legged and human, mourns the loss of our beloved king.
