Duchess Ruby Ramsey
The Duchess Ruby Ramsey came to us in November 2014 as a 2.5 month old English Bulldog puppy. She was born in Laurel, MS, and we hand picked her out of the litter. During her first couple weeks at home with us, we observed that she did not readily respond to being called, and she startled easily when awakened from sleep. After a doctor visit we were told that she was deaf, a trait that often follows white bulldogs.
We were relieved that we had selected Ruby as we believed we were prepared to give the extra attention she would need. The subsequent 10 years with her have been a pleasure. She is a friendly pup that enjoys your undivided attention.
Ruby has been a regular at the Barkus parade with her 6 years of experience as a Barkus walker. She is indeed a bit of a princess worthy of a cover shot on Vanity Fur!
